Simple Turkey Brine
Ingredients
- 1 cup kosher salt
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 gallons water
Instructions
- In a large pot bring the salt, sugar and 1/2 gallon of water to a boil.
- Once dissolved, turn heat off and pour the remaining 1 1/2 gallons of cold water into the pot and stir. Cool completely before using.
