- 1.5 lbs salmon fresh
- 2 Tbsp. dijon mustard
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 6 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1.5 tsp. garlic minced
- 1.5 tsp. ginger minced
Light your grill and brush your grilling rack lightly with oil to prevent the salmon from sticking. Heat grill to 400 degrees.
Whisk together the mustard, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in small bowl. Pour half of the mixture over the salmon and marinate for 10-15 minutes. Set remaining mixture aside.
Once grill is ready, place salmon (skin side down if applicable) and cook for 5 minutes; remaining marinade that the fish was sitting in can be discarded. Using a wide spatula, gently flip the salmon and cook for another 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, brush the reserved mixture onto and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Transfer fish to cutting board and serve.
