- 4 tsp. dried sage leaves
- 2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. dried marjoram
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes (add more if you prefer a spicy sausage)
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- In small bowl, mix together the sage, salt, pepper, marjoram, brown sugar, red pepper flakes.
- Place pork in large bowl and add the spice mixture to it. Mix well with your hands and form sausage into patties.
- Add oil into skillet and cook the patties over medium heat for 5-7 minutes per side (depending on the size of the patties) or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
