Carmel Nut Candy
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white karo
- 1 cup pet milk
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Grease an 8×8 pan and set aside.
- In a medium size sauce pan, combine the milk, sugar, brown sugar, karo, pet milk, and butter. Cook stirring constantly until the mixture reaches 248 degrees on a candy thermometer.
- Add the vanilla and pecans and stir until combined. Carefully pour mixture into the greased pan and leave until set, about 2 hours.
