Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white karo
  • 1 cup pet milk
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions
 

  • Grease an 8×8 pan and set aside.
  • In a medium size sauce pan, combine the milk, sugar, brown sugar, karo, pet milk, and butter. Cook stirring constantly until the mixture reaches 248 degrees on a candy thermometer.
  • Add the vanilla and pecans and stir until combined. Carefully pour mixture into the greased pan and leave until set, about 2 hours.
