- 4 tsp. dried sage leaves
- 2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. dried marjoram
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes (add more if you prefer a spicy sausage)
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
In small bowl, mix together the sage, salt, pepper, marjoram, brown sugar, red pepper flakes.
Place pork in large bowl and add the spice mixture to it. Mix well with your hands and form sausage into patties.
Add oil into skillet and cook the patties over medium heat for 5-7 minutes per side (depending on the size of the patties) or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
